Old Dogwood Society
Main Stage + Workshop Space
Tiny Tiny Cozy Fest is organized by Old Dogwood Society for Arts & Ecology at 473 Felix Jack Road. Please note that out of respect for Ulluilsc, this will be a dry event. ***IF YOU ARE DRIVING*** email us and we will send you directions.
Old Dogwood is a 5.3 acre land-based project that centres underrepresented people of all ages as cultural creators and regenerators. We are still in our second organizing year, and have established some pretty sweet and very low-tech infrastructure - including a solar-powered outdoor kitchen, a growing garden, composting outhouses, and a palace for the chickens.
The stage, tenting gounds and most workshops will be hosted at Old Dogwood. There are a mix of open fields and shaded areas surrounded by trees. Some of these areas might be difficult or impossible to access by some people depending on physical ability. If you have any question regarding physical accessibility, please shoot us an email! email@example.com
Old Dogwood Accessibility
The land is natural terrain and not wheelchair or scooter accessible. Water is a limited resource on the island so please bring your own drinking water along with food for the weekend. There are both cool shady areas and fully exposed sunny areas that can get real hot. Tenting grounds can get pretty hot during the day and cool at night so bring what you need to stay comfortable!
Old Dogwood has a newly planted garden in the front next to a chicken run. Folks are welcome to hang out in the garden we just ask to keep to the pathways and not step on the soil. Thanks!
Bathrooms exist in the form of composting toilets, some requiring a short 30 second walk through a forest trail to access.
We recommend folks bring some outdoor blankets to sit on and get cozy. Also music events at night will be outside, so please dress appropriately.
There is limited parking we’d like to reserve for folks who need it. If you are thinking of driving on, 3 things:
1. Please email us first to reserve a parking spot ($10 for the weekend) or you may not be able to park on the land.
2. Make sure to RESERVE FERRIES well in advance. Call 1-888-BCFERRY
3. Please drive slowly in via Mill Road (parking is located at the very end of the road)
For anything else, please ask at firstname.lastname@example.org
